This piece, like all langka vessels, is hand-built with spikes individually applied to the surface to mimic the repetition of spikes on a langka fruit. The interior is glazed, and the piece can be used as a flower vase. I like the idea that these pieces can be utilitarian and interacted with daily, as the fruit that inspired them is best when shared.
