I leave parts of the pot unglazed and polished, or textured for a tactile experience. Hand drawn lines converge with fluid glaze for visual intrigue. Exquisite patterns wrap the form with line and color making them a delight to use.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBIO:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eAmy Halko is a studio potter in Cleveland, Ohio. She teaches in the Creative Arts Department at Cuyahoga Community College and at Alchemy Studio in Cleveland. As a Co-founder of The Dallas Pottery Invitational Amy has worked for almost 20 years on a mission to educate the public about the field of functional ceramics. She has taught numerous workshops throughout the US, was a visiting artist at The Pottery Workshop in Jingdezhen, China and a resident artist at The Archie Bray Foundation.
